Summer Trip to Albania & Italy and my skin while traveling

Hi readers,
Hope everyone’s doing well and enjoying the summer!
Can you believe we’re already more than halfway through the year? Wild. But honestly, I have a feeling August is going to be amazing.

So far, summer’s been really good on my end. We’ve been working hard on an exciting upcoming launch (stay tuned since it will be very soon ;) ), and I also took some time off to travel around Europe, which I have to give you a little peek of :)

This summer, I visited Albania, Greece, Italy, and Germany.
And every time I mention Albania, people are quite surprised, but let me tell you, it was incredible. I 100% recommend it. It had everything: mountains, lakes, beaches, very good food, and the nicest people.
Highly recommend the route we did:
Theth → Berat → Saranda (with a day trip to Corfu) → Tirana

As for Italy… Italy was Italy. Especially Sicily, the food. We had every kind of pasta for two weeks straight, and somehow never got tired of it.

Now to talk about my skin, because I feel like a lot of people can relate: I usually break out when I travel (change in water, stress, sunscreen overload, all of it).
But this time, my skin actually got better - it was glowing, actually.

Here’s what I think made the difference:
I brought 3 KOOLSOL Mineral Sunscreens and used them every single day (face & body - great protection by the way, no sunburn, which is an annual ritual for me.) I also packed the plumping pad, minis of gel cream, youth cream, and a bunch of Sweet Rescue sheet masks.
Funny enough, I didn’t really use the youth cream much, and that might’ve helped. The weather in Albania and Italy was extremely hot, as you can imagine, and my skin was already working overtime on the oil front. Skipping that last heavy step and sticking with lightweight hydration made a big difference - I felt the most balanced skin.

With the sheet masks, I kept them in the fridge on long beach days and used them literally as a sweet rescue for an extra soothing effect.

And honestly, the clear ocean water might have helped too ;)

This was my summer, I also want to know your summer so far, or any skincare tips while traveling! Let me know in the comments, and wish you the best as always!
