We have so many exciting new product launches and projects coming out this summer, but we’re back to introduce you to the newest member of our team. Please welcome Boyeon!
Boyeon was born in Korea and moved to the States when she was 10 years old. She graduated from Parsons in 2019 with a major in Product Design and a minor in Communication Design. She is our creative marketer, which means she works in the space between social marketing and design. She produces creative assets for social media, designs our newsletters, and executes visual direction for the brand at photoshoots and content creation days.
In her free time you can find Boyeon showing her love for BTS (yup, she’s Army and V is her bias!). She enjoys watching all their content and loves their songs because of the heart-warming lyrics and how genuine all of the members are. Boyeon wants to one day learn the choreography for each of their songs despite not being the best dancer (so she says). We just started a TikTok so maybe we can convince her to make her dancing debut there!
For Boyeon, self-care is all about self-love and the more you love yourself, the more likely you are to invest time in clean skincare, food, and health. With self-love, she believes you can also face your troubles head-on and find ways to overcome them.
Boyeon was drawn to Knours because of how we position ourselves as not just a hormone-conscious brand, but also a movement where women can be part of a broader community of women that supports each other through all stages of their lives. She also loves how Knours embraces women of all skin types and the unique problems they face daily:

Boyeon is a minimalist when it comes to skincare and is careful about what she puts on her skin because she has a condition known as cholinergic urticaria. Her skin is very sensitive to temperature and she breaks out into hives whenever there’s a sudden change in body temperature - typically during the changing of seasons and whenever she is super stressed. She always takes a close look at the ingredients on the labels when buying something new and also checks if the packaging is recyclable.
Her favorite Knours product of all time is Double Duty Mist because of how hydrating it is, how subtle the scent is, and how soft it makes her skin feel. On busy days she likes to spray the mist and then apply sunscreen. Her morning routine includes Be Kind Double Duty Mist and One Perfect Revival Eye Cream while her nighttime routine includes the addition of Sweet Rescue Bubble Burst Serum and One Perfect Youth Cream.
